Dirk kicked off his musical career in 2002 when he collaborated with a business partner to start a music college in Pretoria. He developed & taught various courses in music production & - technology. In 2006, Dirk decided to pursue a full-time solo career in music production. In 2008 he established Noted Music, the label under which he still operates. In 2013 he started doing full-time work for Select / Sony music.
