David Poole started his journey with a twisted violin instructor at age 6. Somewhat later he was given a choice to pick one musical instrument. It ended up being a sax. Fast forward he did his first gig age 13 with his musical crew (which in the end became Dorp). After school he went to study Jazz at UCT, this is the place he met his long time studio accomplice Emagics Logic (Audio recording and sequencing programming). In the studio with Dorp he invested more energy behind the work area than before it.

From the beginning James Brown and Jamiroquai had been influencing his music in the middle of all the jazz and rock. This joined with his productive Jazz band 'Breakfast Included'. In the end prompted him and Dom uniting in this Electronic/live Duo.
