Valerie Omari is South Africa-based Congolese R&B singer.
In 2018 Omari released her critically acclaimed debut single ‘Just Like The Rain’ which was followed by her EP 'Therefore I Am'. She credits the influence of Janet Jackson and Lauryn Hill on her music.
Omari is also a commercial model and athlete. She was selected to represent South Africa in Florida at the International Arts Talent Show in 2015, which led to a glossy feature spread in the Marie Claire magazine in 2016.
In 2020, Apple Music featured her as part of the streaming platform's New Artist Spotlight series for the month of April.
