Zakhele Madida, otherwise known by his stage name "Zakes Bantwini" was born on the 26 May 1980 in Kwamashu, KwaZulu Natal.
Zakes Bantwini is a singer, record producer and businessman. He is a pioneer of afro house music in South Africa, working with musical giants such as Hugh Masekela, Black Coffee, Bucie and many more. Among one of his greatest achievements is a Grammy Award for "Best Global Music Performance"
