About Amazulu

Amazulu is the introduction studio collection of South African vocalist musician Amanda Black. It was released on 11 November 2016 through Ambitiouz Entertainment with music creation credits from Christer, Ruff, Vuyo Manyike and Lunatik; and extra songwriting credits from Jabulani Makhubo, Christer Kobedi and Sizwe Thabethe. The 14-track collection was selected in five classes each at the 2016 Metro FM Music Awards and at the 23rd version of the South African Music Awards.

The album is an R&B production with Afropop polyrhythms and glinting hints of jazz.
The collection was confirmed platinum three weeks after its release which drove Ngwako Malatji of Sunday World to name Amanda Black as "the new sovereign of anthems".
